(32 weeks with Bash and 32 weeks with Theo)
Alright. I feel like it's a little early to be hitting the feeling HUGE stage that I've hit this past week. I slept harder than I have in months last night and stumbled down the stairs to the bathroom in a stupor this morning and glanced in the mirror and did a quadruple take because .... big. And I think I slept deeply enough to forget that I was pregnant so it was just a bit of a shock. Not singing any sort of woe-is-me songs ... fear not ... I know I've got a lot of weeks to go and the last few weeks are when the real fun begins. And really, aside from the nightly not awful backache ... I feel perfectly fine. Not even a hint of heartburn which I'm sure I can attribute to my esophageal flap just being too tired of baby housing to even care enough to act up. Just call me Doctor G to the race and send me your symptoms if you're wanting an expert diagnosis.
So ... (let me Chris Harrison it for a second) ... with that said ... the last thing I've wanted to do is put on any sort of spandexy anything on my bottom half to trot out into the public sphere unless there is a dress or tunic and tall boots involved. The very last thing. But I've made an exception for these Albion Fit Go Long Leggings. I've never ever been a fan of maternity leggings (and to each their own! if you love them - go you!) because they just fall down or are super uncomfortable and hit at the most unfortunate tippy top of the rib cage and no thanks. These Go Long Leggings are the only ones that stretch enough WHILE holding all of the handle (of the love variety) growth in comfortably while magically not cutting off any sort of vital blood flow to any area of my thorax or legs. They should patent them. Maybe they have. But between these and my blue babies and the slowly warming temperatures ... I've managed to graduate from sedentary sloth to slow walk around the blocker. And I'm just going to keep on climbing the active ladder ... watch.
And as for the Go Long Crew ... I talked about it back in the summer ... but it is my favorite shirt to work out and not work out in. Albion generously sent one size up (in the pretty new Jade color!) from my usual size and I was really pleasantly surprised how it didn't flinch at the bumpage and covered everything quite nicely without needing to stretch and stretch and stretch. And it has thumb holes which just make everything in life better.
Albion Fit is kindly giving away two $100 gift cards to a couple of you dear readers ...
