baby leggings

02 October 2014

This post is #notsponsored. At all. I'm just traipsing into super exciting territory today. Hooray.

Poor Phoebe. By the time I get the older three kids dressed I generally only have time to throw her in some variation of yesterday's outfit and by variation I mean yesterday's outfit in its entirety (which coincidentally served as last night's pajamas) or an outfit that is maybe a little tiny bit too small or maybe something of Theo's that probably should fit a lot looser than it does. Luckily, she doesn't care. At all.

I bought two dresses from Gap on clearance that I'm hoping will get her through the winter and at the rate she's growing she and Julia just might be able to share some 3T frocks by February. I stocked up on Carter's onesies (the best! sorry Gerber!) and am using a fair share of my strongest will power not to raid the internet for all of its sinfully cute baby leggings because there are many.

Here, I'll show you.

I know.

I have ordered from a few of these places in the past (but not all) but I wanted to share my e-wealth of adorable so that I can close out the 91208192038819 windows open in my browser and get on with my life. Until I successfully pester Nell into adding leggings to her shop. Then I'm in trouble.

1. Sweetest Things

2. Wren's Nest

3. Hanna Andersson

4. Little House in the Orchard

5. Little Hip Squeaks

6. Fawn and Clover

What I should really do is tackle the pile of stretchy clothing that I've purged out of my closet and use this genius tutorial to just make my own. One of these days, I will. I will!

Any Etsy (or other) shops you've come across? Hit me. Simon will be so excited.

  1. Ahhh! The wealth of cute baby clothing on the internet is not good for the pocketbook! Love the little lime ones! And you're right about the Carters onesies. Best in town.

  2. Just started making my own to add to my new Facebook page. So far, every pair I make ends up on my daughter, and not for sale. This is apparently not how to start a new business.

  3. I bought my 9 month old son some boy-ish leggings and he got a pair of baby legs in a monthly box subscription. My husband, who's a SAHD, told me one day, "someone gave us some girl stuff by mistake, so I packed it away." Yup, no leggings or baby legs now. Oh well. At least he will always have sweat pants and plaid shirts of random colors.

  4. So glad you posted this today! I bought Avalon two pairs of leggings from Target yesterday, but the material is kind of thin. I am totally checking some of these out. The avocado ones need to be o chubby baby thighs immediately!

Also, love those Hannas. I have Hannas from my 1st that my 6th is wearing. That is quality, folks. :)

  6. So cute. I've got a stack of Goodwill clothing and I'm thinking i need to rummage through before donating. I always feel that no matter how many pairs of pants I buy we never seem to have enough. Why is that?

  8. We got an alarm system when my husband started residency, it helps me sleep a lot better. He started moonlighting now so he's gone at night half of the week. It sucks.

  16. Those little avocados!!! Swoon! 25$ is out of my price range, but now you've got me on a frantic hunt for fabrics. I'd love to see a sewing tutorial for leggings :) (I've pinned a few, but haven't taken the dive yet...)
