32 weeks

tunic (it's the best) - Old Navy Maternity
cardigan - Target
leggings - Old Navy
boots - Hunter

apparently this pose isn't that hard to emulate/copycat/mock according to Bettina ...

my mother.

laugh it up ... funnily enough the name "Bettina" has suddenly been yanked out of contention if the baby is a little lady.

Anyway ... where was I? Oh yes ... my predictable poses ...

looking tired and puffy and puffy and a lot like I did at 35 weeks along with Sebastian.

What can I report? Nothing exciting. I feel good and either the baby has dropped or my rib cage has expanded significantly because I can breathe freely once again and the heart burn has all but vanished just as quickly as it came a few weeks ago.  I think my "belly butt" (as Julia calls it) is starting to protrude which is a pregnancy first which is also something you didn't care to know. Thanks to some growth regression in betwixt appointments, my doctor put an ixnay on the unningray and suggested I go ahead and take up speed walking instead. Yes, speed walking. I assured her that my wogs were far less strenuous than any sort of speed walking I might take part in but she was adamant. I'm working my way up to medium walking and am positive that when the bell has grown 10 cm in two weeks time she will give me strict instructions to start training for a wogging marathon immediately.

We're not even kind of settled on any names and I think last night's quote c/o Simon went a little something like, "you realize the baby will have to live with this name their ENTIRE life, right?" after my 6th rejected suggestion. Pray for peace in our home.

  7. ahh you look so great! i want that exact pair of hunters! i need to start perusing eBay hardcore, I am easily distracted on there... i think you need to start sharing the rejected names here too. i constantly pepper Tim with names and we're not even having a kid, i would say he rejects about 85% of the names i like. fun stuff. also speedwalking is an olympic sport now, just sayin'. ;)

  8. I bought my first pair of boots like that this year. So far, no excuse to wear them in the ATL. We were 67 today. Sigh. I know I'll be happy about that in February, but right now, I'm longing for some colder weather. And you are the most fab looking preggo, ever. Really.

  9. Maternity leggings & the famous ON tunic you keep rambling on about - together - in ONE POST?? Can't help but think this was for me... And I thank you good, sir. Er, lady.

  10. But what about the sizing in the leggings? Do they run small/big?

  14. Haha I love Simon quotes. I had names shot down for months before I finally got my way. And is there really anything better than Hunters? I will live in mine all winter, they hide my pregnancy induced cankles oh-so-well :)

  15. What is it with men and shooting down every name you like?? I hope he at least has suggestions of his own because my husband would shoot down all my names but then come up with NONE of his own. Oh well, we eventually agreed on pretty good names for our girls, I guess that's what really matters! And you are smaller than I am and I'm 2 weeks behind :P

  16. Pregnancy puffiness is the worst! But you definitely don't look 32 weeks-you look so cute and that is a great colour top!

  17. My husband shot down alllll 2 of my favorite names (although maybe he was in on some secret because they've both suddenly turned up on the 'sure-to-become-the-next-aiden/brayden/cayden/hayden/etc list) in favor of thee olde classics like H.W. (and no, it was not short for anything.. just H.W.) and Link (like from Zelda). And they say women are hard to understand...

PS I just looked at your picture and said "she is the cutest pregnant woman ever!" to which Tom asked, "who?" and I said "Oh, my friend Grace." Yep, it's official; since I'm obsessed with your blog and you know my name, we're officially friends. Just FYI! Blog on.

  19. I have all our unborn children's names planned down to the middle name. Initials pre-checked to make sure they don't stand for anything weird. Since we were on such a long road trip this weekend I ran them past Sean to kill some time. After I spouted then all off he stated "I don't like a single one if those."

But then he insisted one of our sons is to be named Derby Chance. So I think I'm just gonna pull the "I'm carrying the baby so I'm naming the baby" card for all future kids.

  21. Oh my laws! I love your mom! Love me a good sense of humor! And how cute is she with her jeans and blazer?
You look amazing Grace! Adorable and teeeeny tiny. I'm pretty sure you're smaller now than I was at 8 weeks this last go around, haha. Yay for decreasing heartburn! Hope it stays that way.

  22. So, so, so adorable!
I was tiny for Baby #1. Then humongous for Baby #2.
I'd better scroll through your pix for future pregnancies -- to inspire me to slow down on my sweets intake. LOVE the OUTFIT specially the Hunter BOOTS!

  23. Names can be so difficult! There are a few that I like for future children that aren't getting any love from Chris. Looking beautiful!
