Julia Styles

07 July 2014

Proving that we are doing a very fine job raising good and Godly children ...
Simon:
... and then God said
Julia:
.... wait wait wait WAIT who is God?!

One night when I let her stay up late to paint our nails together ...
Julia:
well I'd say this is just the most beautiful life tonight

While the kids were putting on a show for me and Phoebe ...
Julia:
Okay Sebastian, now you just do a performance using your two favorite words: trucks and poop
Bash:
Julia: Okay Theo, now you just do a performance doing your favorite thing: throwing diapers in the trash
Theo:

While setting up a show for the kids on Netflix ...
Bash: how about Thomas?!
Julia: no, no Sebastian ... I just can't support that.

While she was stalling nap time ...
Julia: Can I make you some coffee or tea?
Grace: nope, but thanks.
Julia: or maybe a lettuce smoothie? Anything at all?!

While she was stalling nap time yet again ...
Julia: well, I thought we could play a little game
Grace: what game?
Julia: a game called I took off my Pull-up and peed in a bowl
Grace:
Julia:
Grace: where's the bowl?
Julia: I hid it
Grace: where?
Julia: well that's the game ... it's a secret
Grace:

Staring at my Notre Dame shirt (with this similar graphic) the other day ...

Julia: why is Abe Lincoln in such a bad mood?!

While running her hands over my legs that have not had a date with a razor in a couple/few/several days ...
Julia: oh, Grace
Grace: what?
Julia: oh, sweetheart!
Grace: what?!
Julia: you have twigs all over your legs!
Grace:
Julia: do they hurt?!

After hitting up the bathroom for a lengthy visit she brought out a very obviously soiled piece of toilet paper
Julia: I forget ...
Grace: what?
Julia: does this get bruh-cycled?!

NO.

  10. NO. NO NO NO, bruh-cycling or not, leave all things behind in the bathroom! I wish I could say this hasn't happened here, but the other day Easton returned with a pair of sunglasses he found abandoned in the men's room with Josh. I begged him to lie and say the sanitized them before adorning his face...

  25. Her conversations are hilarious, but I love the pictures even more than what she has to say! I'm terrified of little girls and hope that when I have kids I get boys, but little Julia is MAYBE making me change my preferences a bit (as though it's in my control at all...)!

  26. Find the pee bowl sounds like the worst game ever. I suppose it could be worse if it wasn't pee in the bowl, but still. That was HILARIOUS!!!

And you must be doing something right if the almost 4 year old knows who Abe Lincoln is.

    Seriously... too funny.
