Giveaway: $100 to The Children's Place

I'll be honest in admitting that I've never shopped at The Children's Place for the kids. It was just never on my radar mostly because Mandy and Caroline have been SUPER generous in sending lots of great stuff for the boys, I find a lot of Julia's clothing at consignment stores (much to Simon's delight as he insists I dress her solely like she is ready to go chop wood 24/7), and I generally don't venture into the mall. But! I was pleasantly shocked to find that The Children's Place is not only really affordable (some of their clearance stuff is as low as $1.99) but has some really cute stuff. And shopping online for kids is so much less risky and less complicated than shopping for the female body. I will warn you that their stuff runs a tiny bit big according to my super official size calculator (Julia is normally fine in 3T stuff but you'll see that her "whomper" - as she calls it - is a little slidey in the shoulders). Oh! And on the days I can't find a hat for Theo when we go on walks ... these shades (size 2-4 years) fit him perfectly and don't come off and I love them. He does have sort of a ginorm head though.

    We love The Children's Place! Got a fancy dress and winter coat for Gigi for under $10...can't beat that! Their clothes definitely do run big.

    I love those shades - looking very dapper!! Funny about Simon too - Tim likes Gigi dressed girly, but that will probably change as she gets older...already freaked him out once!

    There is a Children's Place located five minutes from my house and it is NOT inside a mall...total win. I love their clearance section and they have decent sales on non clearance items sometimes too.

    I've been shopping at TCP since my first daughter was born, and since her baby sister came along, I've been able to reuse most of the things I've bought there. For the most part they have cute things and you can almost ALWAYS find coupons. I don't think I've ever purchased anything there without one. (And I'm not a couponer at ALL! They're just really easy to come by :))

    20% off your entire purchase sounds nice! I've shopped at The Children's Place a bunch because they usually have a $2.99 rack and I usually have some kind of coupon on top of that. I once found this gorgeous Christmas dress for $2.99! It's a small one so hopefully I'll have a 0-3 month old at the right time of year for it, but I just couldn't resist!

    My niece is due in early August so this is just in time to vault me to favorite aunt status. Plus although it seems to be the consensus, free shipping is the best. I am way too lazy to actually going shopping in the store, but that does not stop me from shaking my fist at the computer screen every time I am charged for shipping.
